When people have a talent, they rarely realise how rare and valuable it is. It comes naturally to them so they assume it must be ordinary. Even when they can see that others clearly don't possess the same gift, they still fail to appreciate the enormity of their own skill. Is this 'humility'? Or is it a failure to be appropriately grateful to the universe for a very special blessing? That's a point to consider at your leisure today. Update.......it's Music Time!

OK.........now onto the music, that is why yall tune in right? LOL

Well, the album is coming along pretty good. My EP (what up Fingaz) is on his grizzly no BS............everytime I speak to him, he has a new song concept for me. I would share em, but these are Platinum ideas........I can't have nobody thiefin' my *ish*!!! The beat process is kinda slow...but thats because I wanna have at least 1 song done before I approach the next Producer; I don't wanna be 'sittin' on anybody's beats! Feel me? I am cutting back on the shows, trying to keep them down to a 3-4 show per month maximum! I don't want my creative growth to be stunted or influenced by my surroundings...........so I'm gonna be spending a lot of time alone. I think this will definitely do me some good............but on the other hand, it's gonna affect my mood, if you know what I mean, LOL

The story/review that Jaye Hunnie did on me will be running in the city paper soon. My photo shoot is supposed to happen this week, so let's keep our fingers crossed!

That's me..........20 LBS lighter then I was on January 1st, 2006. (And I've actually lost 3 more lbs since then...yessssssss) I'm still not ready to put up my before pic (I was definitely in my underware), cuz I'm still not exactly where I want to be. This shit ain't easy........believe me. But I ain't mad at my progress........I'm gonna get into a two-piece by June 30th, mark my words!

It's funny I had been wanting to lose weight for the past 4 years.......the only thing that keeps me motivated is my music, and the fact that I wanna be able to talk shit! I'd hate to be spittin some shit, and someone yell "Shut up you FAT bitch" or somethin' like that........yall know negros can be soooooooooooo ignorant! So when I'm on the treadmill, that's what I think of when I wanna quit.........

I'm a definite walker/bullshit-jogger..............so anyone interested in some HipHop talk while gettin' ya nice CARDIO on..........Holla at me!

Now onto the music business...........

Last night I had a great session at Kariz's studio with Jabari (Konscious Heads, Sunz of Nat), Jahli (Golden Seal), Ms. Stress, Rio, and "What session can you go to, and Ogun ain't there?". Yup he came to lend me that supportive and creative energy that I needed (we do this a lot for eachother, and surprisingly enough........it really helps!!!!) We were working on the new anthem called "Woman's Role Call", featuring : ShellBe RAW, Ms. Stress, Jahli and Reflectsun of Golden Seal, C. Clear, and Antiquity.......and soon to be added Symantyx. Crazy line-up right? The song thus far is straight PIFF, no BS. My verse is gonna surprise people......and let may just say now, "YES it REALLY is ME!!!!"

Last week I completed the 1st song for my Album, its not etched in stone that it'll make it on there.............but the song is definitely hot! Shout out to Niige of ARS, that beat is FIYAH!!!! Right now I'm working on the beats that I got from Vertex (of brown F.I.S.H.), and Kariz (of bangin' Beats)......I'm still in the writing/vibing phase though!

Also, right now I have a new song on my myspace page called "B More RAW", which is basically my ode to B-More and the artists here grindin' tryna make some shit happen! You gotta show love to get love..........well that's how I feel. I respect a lot of people's hustle, but don't get mad if ya name ain't included.....it seriously was just some quick bars that I put together (I wasn't even gonna release it, but my EP of my LP made an EXECUTIVE decision.........LOL)

"REUNION"..............it sounds so funny to say that, but we literally need one. We have all been off doing our own things (some more than others), but either way; there is no feeling in the world like the feeling I get when performing with my brothers. 360 is not just a group of rappers and a producer, we are a family. We have had to deal with: death, birth, financial setbacks, beefs (with others, and amongst ourselves), and the list goes on.....but we've gone through it all TOGETHER!



Tonight I have a show at the Yabba Pot w/ my extended family, Brown F.I.S.H. It is truly gonna be a family affair........this will be the first show that ALL the members from 360 will be in attandance, and performing, since October of 2004 (my first show). It is gonna be a great show for real. We are showcasing new material, and doing a tribute to our fallen soldier, William B. Drama a.k.a. Taz.

Inferiority Complex... It makes us feel that in order to be someone special we have to put everyone else beneath us. Are we so insecure in ourselves that we can't feel good until we pull someone else down?

There's something wrong here. We've come to envy those who've accomplished in their lives what we've only dreamed of having for ourselves. And when we fear we will never be able to get what we want - we steal it.

There is a serious self-worth issue going on here. We're in a day and age where we should be encouraging each other and holding each other up.

Sisterhood should not end when Oprah goes off. Truth be told, there will always be someone prettier, sexier, stronger, and smarter. I'm sorry Boo - that's just the way it is. But that's ok.....just do you!

Real talk.......I don't care how good Beyonce' looks - if she walks into the same room I'm in, it doesn't make me any less of the diva I already am! I have goals in life. There are things I strive to attain. Yet I seek out successful sisters because they keep me motivated. (Shout out to OOWE, we are living proof that women can co-exist and be about the greater good! One Helluva Re-Cap

Damn it's been an entire week.......since I last posted, but even before then so much has been going on that I haven't mentioned yet.

On Friday March 24, 2006 the first "F.I.S.H. and Friends" took place. The Legendary Brown F.I.S.H. decided to showcase their already celebrated talents, while giving oppurtunities for their 'friends' to shine. It was a truly monumental night......I honestly felt like I was in church. There was a sweet spirit in that spot for sure. I still get chills just thinking about that night!

Next up, the Madame of Murderland Battle 2 that took place on Monday March 27, 2006. My homegirl and fellow OOWE sister was defending her title, I was performing, and my other homegirls, Tha Plague were also on the bill to perform. I opened up the show for real.......and I had surprises for their asses no doubt. I came out in my 'hoopin' gear to do a verse about MT (who had somewhat disrespected me @ the MOM2 press conference the prior week by responding to fellow rapper and ShellBe RAW fan, C-Gudda's question "Who is tryna see ShellBe RAW?" by saying "Who is ShellBe RAW, don't nobody know her!!!"............WOW!!!!!! Yeah I'm just as shocked as you! LOL) Then I leaped off the stage and did a quick run-way style wardrobe change into some sexy jeans, a fitted shirt, and some pumps. I had a high energy set, with 360 backing me up. The reaction for the crowd was GREAT!!

Other Important News:
I officially started the process of creating my debut solo album. Me and Executive Producer, J-Fingaz (JFK of 360) met with Vertex of Brown F.I.S.H. to listen to some beats. Pictured Below.

I had so much fun, I finally made my way to the F.I.S.H. bowl, got to chill with Jahiti, B-Fly, OOH, Vertex, even Tasha (of Divine Ideals) was in the spot. We watched footage from the Madame of Murderland 2, listened to music, shot the shit.....etc. I can't tell you how much of an honor it was to be amongst such established artists, and hear them say how they "f*cked" with me heavy. I felt like, damn...I must be doin' 'somethin' right! LOL
